pink dolphin

Saturday, March 28, 2009

It is so amazing to see a dolphin, but look what they found in an inland lake in Louisiana, USA. It has become such an attraction, so the conservationists have warned tourists to leave it alone.

This pink dolphin has reddish eyes, which is just part of albinism. Don't you worry guys because this stunningly pink dolphin is healthy. OMG, it is like watching cartoons, where you can see colorful creatures but this one is real!!!

Charter boat captain Erik Rue, 42, originally saw the dolphin.

He said:

"I just happened to see a little pod of dolphins, and I noticed one that was a little lighter

"It was absolutely stunningly pink.

"I had never seen anything like it. It's the same color throughout the whole body and it looks like it just came out of a paint booth.

"The dolphin appears to be healthy and normal other than its coloration, which is quite beautiful and stunningly pink.

According to Regina Asmutis-Silvia, senior biologist with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, Albinism is a genetic trait and it unclear as to the type of albinism this animal inherited.

I Am Me

My photo
"i am nothing special of this i am sure. i am a common man with common thoughts and i've led a common life. there are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. but i've loved someone with all my heart and soul. and to me, this has always been enough."
